What you need to know

Ordinance 2018-10, approved by City Council on May 23, 2018, amended the City’s Zoning Regulations to address Short-Term Rental Properties.  Ordinance 2018-16, approved by Council on August 22, 2018, establishes licensing regulations to safeguard the public health, safety, and welfare by regulating and controlling the use and occupancy of Short-Term Rental properties in the City.  

A valid license is required for each Short-Term Rental in Black Hawk which includes a License-Holder Affidavit of Inspection ensuring compliance with the Code.
